Mockingbird test bench

Unlisted prototype — the real plugin DSP, compiled to WebAssembly. Artificial Double Tracking, the 1966 varispeed two-tape-machine way: one take in, two takes out. Kindly do not tell the sales department.

Bench notes — Drag the knobs. TIME sets how far behind the second machine runs (turning it bends pitch, as varispeed does). DRIFT is how carelessly the operator rides the speed control. BLEND brings the double up under the dry take. The slide switch places the takes — MONO up the middle, SPLIT part-panned, WIDE hard left and right (use headphones). Stomp the foot switch to hear it come and go; the jewel lamp breathes with the tape wander.

SESSION TAPES — same DI takes as the other benches:

Doubling is subtle by design — A/B it with the foot switch. Live input: headphones advised.
