Which version of an Untamed Audio pedal loads where, and what to do if yours doesn't.

Which format do I need?

Untamed Audio App Store releases provide AUv3. Check each App Store listing for the supported Apple platforms. Some Mac DAWs support AUv3; others require AUv2 or VST3. Check the format support for your exact DAW version before purchasing.

Our direct desktop bundles are being prepared for macOS AUv2/VST3 and Windows/Linux VST3. Each product page will list the formats and platforms actually available. Desktop purchases are separate from App Store purchases and do not include iPhone or iPad software.

Why does my plugin not appear?

Confirm that the format and processor architecture match your host, then rescan plugins using your host's instructions. AUv3 lives inside its containing app; open that app once after installing it. If you still need help, email joshuajrideout@gmail.com with the plugin, DAW version and operating system.

Will every editor scale?

Plugin editors and hosts handle sizing differently. Some have fixed dimensions or native graphics that prevent reliable scaling. Deck Lite fits editors where supported and provides scrolling for editors that cannot fit.

Is Deck Lite really free?

Yes. Deck Lite is $0.00. A free email account is required for official downloads, with daily limits to protect the service. Once downloaded, it works offline without activation or an account login. Plugins are installed separately. A future paid Deck will be a separate product.

Can I share the desktop download?

You're welcome to share the unmodified desktop release privately with friends. Please don't upload it to file-sharing sites or public links, sell it, or repackage it. Keep the licence and third-party notices with the copy. Share the app, not your account or personal download link. See the desktop sharing terms. App Store packages have their own terms.
